As a Lawyer, Anthony takes every case personal. He has been in the shoes of a client in his own life and understands the frustrations many clients feel when they are working with an attorney. As a result, Anthony has the ability to make the experience more fluid and can help ease concerns of his clients as he works with them to resolve their disputes and/or financial problems. Anthony has been involved with all types of cases, and can use those experiences to further your case along.
Anthony has a background in collections. He has personally been through the family law courts and understands the need to have someone who understands your frustrations on your side. In law school, Anthony worked with the Thomas M. Cooley Innocence project on criminal cases with post conviction relief. Anthony has also been divorced with children involved. It is all of these experiences that have driven Anthony to help out those that need help the most, and help them understand what is going on, not just the legal side, but he has been through the emotional side. It is this experience that separates him from most attorneys in the state.
“What I like most about the work that I do, is that when I am helping someone, it allows me the opportunity to use my life experiences as well as my legal experiences to help them get through these tough times. Courts are scary. Prosecutors and opposing counsel can be scary. I find that often, a client just needs to relate to his attorney in order to have a more positive experience and understand the possible outcomes before we reach a conclusion.” ~ Anthony Saunders
Anthony also works closely with small business in both the start up process and ongoing representation. He has handled franchise opportunities for local small business owners and has helped in both the filing process and ongoing representation after the franchise was established.
Anthony has handled cases where he has began in the middle of the case. People have come to him after realizing their attorney was nickel and diming them to a point that in one case, they were double billed for the same work by both an attorney and a paralegal. Anthony takes pride in being able to resolve disputes and set up strategy and planning with the client’s goal in mind while remembering, that part of that goal is savings. No one wants to win but be broke because of it.
Anthony has a large family and takes pride in being able to spend time with his kids. He is an avid fan for the Real Salt Lake and attends games regularly. Anthony is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.
